2013 Recap
2013. The year I wanted to blog more. And so I did. For a little while. Then I stopped, I never had inspiration to, was never bored enough to bother. I would instead play games or talk to Nen. Oh yes, 2013 was also the year I started my newest relationship. It's nearly a year old now, how those ships grow, don't they.
Also, since I have actually blogged more this year, there's less to tell now, as I do believe I've told most of what has happened so far. At least I think so. But I guess it can be summed up briefly, if necessary.
I quit school, it didn't do anything for me, I just didn't feel like it was worth getting up for, so I left, I got a job instead, which I much prefer since it actually provides me with a feeling of being needed and appreciated.
Nennah and I started dating, which was a surprise to me, I had not seen myself falling for anyone, but something about her just made me forget about anything else. Makes me, even.
And I'm really bad at such things as emotions in public, so I always feel awkward and avoid eye contact when telling people how I proposed to her. That's right, on December 28, our 11 month anniversary, I took her out and that evening as we were looking at the stars and the fireworks, I asked her to marry me. So now I'm engaged. That was unexpected by... everyone, I believe. But I'm glad I did it, even though we've joked about it loads of time, actually doing it, still made me insanely nervous! I guess I just wanted it to go perfectly. And I'd say it did!
So now I'm looking to sell this place, find somewhere else, somewhere we can both stay and have enough room for everything we want. And by July when we will have all of this, she will move here, to be with me, finally not having to count down the days when she'll leave again! That'll be the highlight of this year!
She also got to meet pretty much all of my friends, and at once, even though she had met some before, on New Year's Eve. She seemed to like them, which I'm happy with, and more importantly they seem to like her! It'd be tough if they wouldn't get along. With her in my life, the future doesn't matter to me, as long as I get to spend it with her, I'll be the happiest man alive!
